Gugu Mbatha-Raw could find herself in a series of contemporary gowns if
her first starring role is as well received as people are expecting; we
hear whispers about Amma Asante's historical biography, saying it could
be destined for an awards push this year. It appears as though Fox
Searchlight is going to let word of mouth do the talking as the studio
hasn’t pushed hard on the release.
